Paris Chong: A Visionary Force in Fine Art Photography, Curation, and Community Engagement

Paris Chong is a dynamic Gallery Director at Leica Gallery Los Angeles who has spent two decades elevating the world of fine art photography. She curates exhibitions, mentors emerging photographers, and has hosted celebrated names like Sebastião Salgado, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and Lenny Kravitz.

Her artistic approach centers on bridging tradition and innovation, recognizing the potential of new technologies—such as digital cameras and evolving AI tools—to enrich rather than replace genuine artistic vision. Always community-focused, Paris also encourages creatives to join competitions and participate in portfolio reviews to gain credibility and exposure.

In addition to her work at Leica, Paris is an active board member for both The Foundation for The AIDS Monument and The West Hollywood Design District, championing cultural and social initiatives. As a curator for The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC), she helps organize exhibitions that blend photography with mixed media.

With an ever-growing presence in the global art scene, she envisions Leica Gallery LA as a space that both honors the legacies of master photographers and champions experimental new voices.
