DWR is proud to feature Sam McCurdy for ArtWalk 2025.

Los Angeles based artist Samantha McCurdy creates sculptural paintings that play with tension, mystery, and form. Her work transforms stretched fabric into protruding, enigmatic shapes that invite curiosity and connection. McCurdy’s art has been showcased worldwide and is collected by leading designers and hospitality brands, but at its core, her practice is about transforming simple materials into something unexpected and alive.

Artist will be present from 5pm-8pm.

Louis Stern Fine Arts honors the 100th birthday of Karl Benjamin (1925–2012) with a selection of rare early works from the 1950s—the decade that sparked his lifelong “love affair” with painting and his role as a founding figure of the Hard Edge movement.

M+B is pleased to present Perfect Days, an exhibition of new works by Kristof Santy. This marks Santy’s third solo presentation with the gallery, following a recent show at Casa MB. The exhibition opens on Saturday, September 20 with an opening reception at the gallery from 5 to 8 pm.

In Perfect Days, Kristof Santy expands his universe of flattened interiors, stylized gastronomy, and folkloric gestures, delivering a wry and affectionate catalogue of life’s minutiae. Borrowing its title from Wim Wenders’ 2023 film—an ode to repetition and routine—the exhibition continues Santy’s interest in figures and objects shaped by the daily rhythms of work, solitude, and observation. As in his earlier show Hermit (Casa MB, Milan, 2024), Santy remains tethered to the tasks that structure domestic space, but here, a quiet sociability emerges. The world is still structured by habit, but now the artist seems to peek over the hedges.
