Fashion, Coffee and Cycling: New Businesses Open in the WeHo Design District

This season has turned out to be an exciting one as four new incredible businesses have set up shop, adding even more taste and creativity to the fashion, food, and fitness culture of the West Hollywood Design District:

1. The Elder Statesman

We’re excited to welcome the esteemed women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections of the Elder Statesman, opening its first retail store here in the West Hollywood Design District. This luxury label offers colorful knit and woven accessories, chic sunglasses, children’s items, and a robust selection of home goods, often manufactured locally in Los Angeles. This new location was created in collaboration with the well-known design firm Commune, featuring an open floor plan, an outdoor stone patio, sky lights, and other statement design accents (the LA Times).

2. Cycle House

If you love to cycle and the high energy work out environment that comes with it, make sure to check out Cycle House’s newest location on Melrose Avenue. Cycle House offers its participants an interval-training based full-body workout, while also giving back to the community. Its vision includes a unique quality of social responsibility: for each class you take, two meals are donated to a person in need.

3. Alfred Coffee {In the Alley}

Like any other lively destination, the West Hollywood Design District always appreciates a quality coffee locale which is why we’re welcoming Alfred in the Alley with open arms. Its menu of Stumptown cold brews and chocolate covered coffee cones, along with a beautifully designed interior, makes Alfred in the Alley a perfect outpost for any and all caffeine lovers visiting the District, #butfirstcoffee.

4. Alice + Olivia

Now open on Melrose, the newest Alice + Olivia store offers shoppers an array of vintage-inspired prints and contemporary women’s apparel, loved by fashion-industry insiders and celebrities alike. The store celebrated its opening party on Melrose Avenue, headed by CEO Stacy Bendent, with guest attendees including actresses Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Betsy Brandt .
